You've already come across the Options screen while setting up your phone. But if you were sensible, you didn't play around with any settings and concentrated on getting the job done. The default settings should be ok for 99% people out there. I didn't change many myself.

There are a total of 7 screens that you will go through. The first of them is Connection & Common. The top part, that is, Connection is already set up so let's not touch that. But in the lower part, that is, Common area, you'll find a few interesting options:

Common Options

Those are intelligent choices by default. The biggest thing I liked is that the software does not call home on starting the application. You have to specify that you want to do it and only then will it do that. Another option (not shown here in my screenshot) that has been added to v2.7 is the ability to check the phone data by an anti-virus software. Sweet! :) I didn't change the colour options either but you really can change them if you want.

The next is Phonebook confirmations and some other miscellaneous options. I really don't see a point in putting up a screenshot just for the sake of it. The default options are great in this one too. The coolest two options that do deserve a mention are the ability to set address format in the phonebook view and that if you want, you can mark default call, SMS, MMS and e-mail numbers as bold (this is turned on by default).

Two sub-screens of Phonebook are Import & Export and Outlook mapping. I didn't play around with much but in brief, the former sets the options for exporting and importing phonebook data and is comprehensive enough that you'll not feel restricted, while the latter let's you to co-ordinate the phonebook data with Microsoft Outlook address book. Very effective for those who manage contacts on Outlook and want the phone in-sync.

Options for Messaging are next. The coolest in the options there are:

Messaging Options

Many times I send back a message that's old and just the ability of quoting the original is cool. My reaction was, "Just like email! Nifty!" Since Oxygen Software seem to have taken to dealing with messages in an e-mail like fashion (seems logical), the interface and options reflect that thinking. Everybody emails and so it'll be very easy for almost everybody to jump into messaging using the software.

Next up is options for Calendar. Most options are about colours but the good thing is besides colours, the software lets you specify the hours of the day to show in the daily view and what day your week start from.

Finally, the Gallery options. For now you can only specify if you want to use full-sized images as hints, that is, when you mouse-over the picture in the list.

That's it. So you see, there are not a whole lot of options but what are there are intelligent and wisely chosen as factory default.
